Privacy Policy
Last updated October 18, 2026
The short version: we collect what we need to run the site: your account, what you post, and basic security logs. We have no ads and no third-party trackers, and we don’t sell your personal information.
Your roast picks show up only as totals, never next to your name. Private feedback threads are seen only by you, the business, and us.
1. Who we are
Vibdit (vibdit.com) is operated by Fatt Corporation, a Wyoming corporation (“we,” “us”). This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use Vibdit (the “Service”). It is part of our Terms of Service.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Account: your username, email address, and password. We store only a salted, one-way hash of your password, never the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google.
- Profile and settings (optional): a display name, a short “about” line, a website, an avatar image you upload, and your preferences (such as theme, feed sort, and whether search engines may list your profile).
- Content: posts, comments, links, uploaded images, votes, roast picks, community memberships, reports you file, and roast pick suggestions.
- Business information: whether your account is a business account, and anything you give us to verify your business.
- Coupons and feedback: the private feedback messages you write, which offers you applied for, coupon codes released to you, and, if the business records it, whether a code was redeemed. For businesses: your offers, the codes you load, and your helpful or not-helpful decisions.
- Messages to us: anything you send to support@vibdit.com.
Information collected automatically
- Session and security data: when you log in, we store your IP address and your browser’s user-agent string with your session. We use this to keep your account secure and to fight spam and abuse.
- Network and request data: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes the technical details of each request (such as IP address, the page requested, and the time) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
We don’t collect precise location, contacts, payment card numbers, or sensitive categories of information such as health or biometric data. Please don’t post sensitive personal information in public Content.
3. How we use it
- To run the Service: create your account, show your Content, count votes and picks, rank feeds, and run feedback threads and coupon releases.
- To keep it safe: detect spam, fake accounts, vote manipulation, and coupon farming; enforce our Terms; and respond to reports.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, coupons you’ve earned, and changes to our Terms or this policy.
- To understand and improve the Service, mostly through aggregate counts (for example, how many pitches were posted this week).
- To build aggregate statistics, such as how a category of pitches tends to get roasted. These statistics don’t identify any user (see section 5).
- To comply with the law and protect the rights and safety of our users, the public, and Fatt Corporation.
4. What other people can see
- Public to everyone: your username, profile, karma, account type (personal or business), and the posts and comments you make, plus anything you share in them.
- Shown only as totals: votes and roast picks. Other users and businesses see counts and percentages, not who voted or picked what.
- Seen by the business only: when you open a feedback thread on a pitch, that business sees your username and the messages in the thread. If a coupon is released to you, the business can see that it was released to your username.
- Seen by moderators: moderators of a community see reports filed in that community. We (the site staff) can see private threads and reports when needed for moderation, safety, or legal reasons.
7. How long we keep it
- We keep account information and Content while your account is open.
- Login sessions expire. Session records, including IP address and user agent, are deleted when you log out, and expired ones are purged daily.
- When you remove a post or comment, it is hidden from everyone right away. We keep the removed record for moderation and safety (for example, to handle reports about it) until your account is deleted. When we delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information, and copies may remain in backups for a limited time before they are overwritten.
- We may keep some information longer when we need it: records of moderation actions and bans (so banned users can’t simply return), coupon release records a business needs to honor a code, and anything required by law.
- Vote and pick totals, and aggregate statistics, stay after an account is deleted, but they no longer link to you.
8. Your choices and rights
- Edit or delete Content: you can remove your posts and comments, and change your votes and picks, on the site.
- Do it yourself in Settings: download a copy of your data, change your email, password, and profile, turn off search-engine listing of your profile, and delete your account. Deleting erases your login and personal details; your old posts stay up as [deleted] unless you choose to remove them too.
- Or ask us: email support@vibdit.com from the address on your account to access, correct, or delete your information. We may need to confirm it’s you before acting.
- Email: turn reply, coupon, and feedback emails on or off in Settings → Notifications. We’ll still send messages needed to run your account, such as password resets, email confirmation, and security notices.
- We won’t treat you differently for using any of these rights.
9. California residents
California law, including the California Online Privacy Protection Act and, where it applies, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended (CCPA), gives California residents additional rights. Here is how they apply:
- Categories collected (past 12 months): identifiers (username, email, IP address); internet activity on our Service (posts, votes, picks, session data); commercial information (coupons offered, released, or redeemed); and inferences limited to scores shown on the site, such as karma. Sources and purposes are described in sections 2 and 3.
- Disclosure: we disclose these categories to the service providers listed in section 5 for business purposes. We do not sell or share personal information as the CCPA defines those terms, and we have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing information about anyone under 16.
- Your rights: to know what we collect and how we use and disclose it; to delete; to correct; to opt out of sale or sharing (which we don’t do); to limit the use of sensitive personal information (which we don’t collect); and not to be discriminated against for using these rights. To make a request, email support@vibdit.com. You can use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authority and ask you to confirm your identity.
- Shine the Light: we don’t share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing.
- Minors: if you’re under 18 and posted Content you want removed, email us and we’ll remove it from public view (this doesn’t cover content others copied or reposted).
10. Children
Vibdit is not directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, email support@vibdit.com and we’ll delete it.
11. Security
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls, and feedback threads that only their participants (and our staff) can open. No service is perfectly secure, so please use a unique password. If we learn of a breach that affects your personal information, we’ll notify you as the law requires.
12. Where data is stored
Our database is hosted in the United States. Cloudflare serves the site from data centers around the world, so request data may be processed close to wherever you are. By using the Service, you understand that your information is processed in the United States.
13. Changes to this policy
We’ll post any changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we’ll tell you in advance on the Service or by email.
